Covid-19: Home care funding ‘will be scrutinised’ says Shadow Welsh Minister

The Shadow Social Care Welsh Minister has pledged to scrutinise the Welsh Labour administration after it announced today (April 29) a £10-million package to transition people from hospital to home as they recover from Covid-19 (Coronavirus). So far, the UK Government has allocated some £2 billion to tackle the pandemic in Wales.

Mark Isherwood AM – the Shadow Welsh Minister for Communities, who Co-Chairs the Cross Party Group on Violence against Women and Children – has added his voice to calls for the Welsh Government to provide urgent emergency funding for services providing violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence (VAWDASV)  to respond to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
