Evie is one of five councillors who represent the Marl ward on Conwy Town Council. She is a young self employed artist/silversmith and owns her own business, The Emporium, in Llandundo Junction. Alongside her business she works with young people and their families, providing respite for carers. She has lived in Llandudno Junction her whole life and has always been community minded, supporting events like Trakz and Conwy’s annual Christmas Eve event.
Evie was first elected in at a by-election in March 2018. In a two horse race against the Labour Party she won 62% of the vote – not bad in a ward that has a tendency to lean towards Labour. In Evie’s ideal world, she would like to see more people working together to make sure that Llandudno Junction is pleasant and attractive and someone that everyone can be proud of.
